In 1955, Walter Cunningham, the founder, envisioned a company dedicated to meeting the indexing and filing system supply needs of the industry. That firm, SUPERIOR TABBIES, INC., evolved into today's XERTREX INTERNATIONAL INC.

As paper converters, XERTREX and its three divisions create, manufacture and distribute products throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. Headquartered in Itasca, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago in a 42,000 square foot plant, the firm maintains two manufacturing plants that utilize more than 70,000 square feet of production capacity.

Now in its third generation, the Cunningham family continues to take an active role in XERTREX to ensure that customer requirements are well served and that the company's reputation as progressive, innovative and growth oriented is maintained.

TABBIES celebrates over 50 years of its leadership in designing and manufacturing filing and indexing systems and supplies.

Using the best available papers, inks and adhesives, its products continue to be utilized by those who demand the highest quality; lawyers, medical administrators, record managers, secretaries, and a wide variety of other professionals. TABBIES uses recycled materials wherever possible, and most products are recyclable. Products are distributed through wholesalers, retail office suppliers and filing distributors.

The division is well prepared to address the concerns and needs of those who must gather, collate and maintain information in an effective manner in order to remain competitive in their fields over the coming decades.
